This article lists the steps or tasks that need to be signed off for the GL module to be live.
The Checklist
- Has the list of nominated users been set up to access the GL Module
- Have the admin users got access to the admin console to maintain the master files
- Is the Account Master loaded to the client admin console
- Is the Cost Centre Master loaded to the client admin console
- Has the opening and closing balances been set up and validated to source
- Has the movement / transaction amounts been loaded and validated to source
- Has the Reporting Calendar been set up correctly
- Has Budget, Budget Var and Budget Var % measures been added
- Has Transaction Amount, Var LY and Var % LY measures been added
- Are relative period facts: MTD, YTD, Financial MTD, Financial YTD and LY's available
- (Optional) Has additional Account Master attributes been added to the master file
- (Optional) Has additional Cost Centre Master attributes been added to the master file
- (Optional) Has Location and Cost Centre Codes been linked
- (Optional) Have the Report Views been set up and tested
- (Optional) Have the GL Calculations been set up and tested
- (Optional) Have the GL Reports been set up in the portal and correct user access applied
