This article outlines the steps to follow to enable tRS to integrate with Kepler Traffic Counters.
Background
tRS integrates with many data sources via API's and various other means. Foot Traffic or Traffic Counters are popular data sources and once integrated into your tRS Service, you can compare your traffic levels as well as blended insights such as Conversion % rates over time and compare across locations.
Requirements from you
- Credentials Access to your Kepler FPT website [username & password]
Example FTP website

With rights to be able to add folders from the ROOT directory [read write]

Typically we request 6 months if available - Request an export of the data to the directory “/uploads/traffic/”Contact Kepler
- And ensure the export is scheduled daily before 4am EST

- The standard fields we require is as follows
- Name,
- Time,
- Duration,
- Outside,
- Inside,
- Shopfront Conversion %,
- Dwell Time,
- Return Visits,
- Fitting Room Visits,
- Fitting Room Conversion %

The tRS Team will then follows these steps
- tRS connect to the HOST and set up the WINSCF script
- tRS will then
- Set up the imports
- Review a sub set of the data in staging
- Map in the Location Analysis Table
- Preliminary data validation in a pivot eg/ looking for gaps
- Raise any questions with you.
