🚀Portal Development Release (17/11/2021)

These release notes address both new enhancements and bugs within the tRS Portal.

1. Alerts/Notifications

  • The most exciting change, from this release, is a much anticipated alerts functionality within our business. 
  • Acting similar to that of your key social media websites, alerts will allow us to communicate scheduled maintenances, new items, new pages, knowledge base articles etc.

Tip: Promoted Notifications will always display until you either acknowledge or remove the notification. This ensures we as a business know you have got the message!

Note: This is a Version 1, we will continue to improve this item as we move forward.

 

Tools, screwdriver, wrench Bug Fixes and Minor Adjustments

Note: These are strictly front-end portal interface bugs. Does not include bugs/issues to do with cubes, security and databases.

1. Complete UI upgrade
  • This will be rolled out in increments every 3 weeks, from now, and will include such features as:
    • Light theme and Dark Theme
    • New Gallery Component (Allows images alongside Grid)
    • New Charts/Visualisations
    • Improved Navigation, look and feel

Note: This is just a spec document, our application may look different

 

There are more exciting enhancements and projects that we have been working on that we will share in due time!
