FACT FIELD NAME DEFINITION
Sales Docket Number Unique chronological number generated by the system at the time a sale is processed. Each Transaction generates a unique Docket number which is documented on the Customer Receipt. The details of the sales transaction is stored against the docket number.
Sales Transaction Number The POS generated Transaction number unique to a location
Sales Is Return Flag to filter on Transactions that include a Return 'Y' or do not inlcude a Return 'N'. Rule: If Sales Units <0 then 'Y' else 'N'
Sales Is Markdown Sale Flag to filter on Transactions that include a Permanent Markdown 'Y' or do not include a Permanent Markdown 'N'
Sales Is Temp Discount Sale Flag to filter on Transactions that include a Temporary Discount 'Y' or do not include a Temporary Discount 'N'
Sales Is True Discount Sale Flag to filter on Transactions that include a Temporary and/or Permanent Discount 'Y' or do not include any Discount 'N'
Sales Is Net Return Flag to filter on Transactions that have a return where the net value of the transaction is negative 'Y' or 'N', This takes into account the net value of a return after exchanges within the one transaction. Rule: If total docket value < 0, then 'Y', else "N"
