      How to Update a Workbooks ODC

      Simple steps to updating an OCD

      This document will be useful for Test cubes and Cube Migrations.


       Please follow the steps to update the entire Workbooks ODC connection.

      1. Go to the Data tab on your Excel Workbook

      2. Queries & Connections

      3. Choose Connections under the right-hand side wing popup

      4. Right Click on the Connection

      5. Properties

      6. Definitions

      7. Browse

      8. My Data Sources

      9. This process of updating the ODC may help you reload reports that are having refresh issues.

       

      Please follow the following steps to update an individual pivot tables ODC

      1.  Select the Pivot
      2. Under the PivotTable Analyze Tab select Change Data Source
      3. Choose Connection
      4. Browse for More
      5. Select the new ODC
